Collaboration with various schools is part of the 18th Merano International WineFestival & Culinaria, which takes place on 7th, 8th and 9th November and includes the great official opening on the evening of 6th November as well as GourmetHotelCollection and Locande del Gusto.
The following schools will be sending their students to show off their skills at the Merano WineFestival & Gourmet:
- the Centro di Formazione Professionale from Tione with the 4th class of the “Tecnico di cucina creativa” under the watchful eye of head chef Giorgio Nardelli as well as the 3rd class of the “Operatore ai Servizi di Sala/Bar” under the supervision of Maître Gianni Cassanelli;
- the Istituto Professionale Statale per l’Industria l’Artigianato e i Servizi Alberghieri „L. da Vinci” from L'Aquila with several students, professors, the president and the headmaster;
- the Centro di Formazione Professionale „Luigi Einaudi” per il Commercio e Turismo from Bozen with the class “Servizi Tecnico Superiore per l’Assistenza alla direzione delle agenzie di viaggio e tour operators incoming”.
There are also many important fringe events taking place before, during and after the Merano WineFestival & Gourmet at which we will be represented:
- Vinoculti from 16.10. to 5.11. in Dorf Tirol, where we will be personally present at the events Altissimo und Dolcissimo;
- Ars et Vinum from 16.10. to 5.11. in Algund, a colourful event with a mixture of art, wine and music where our representatives will be present;
- Ultner Herbst-Zuanochten and „Premio Godio" on 17.10. at the Schwemmalm in Ultental with tasting of typical products and the award of the “Premio Godio", where we will be present with our mountain wines;
- the Riesling Days from 27.10. to 7.11. in Naturns with tasting and the National Riesling Competition and the Riesling Gold award in the Stadttheater Puccini in Meran, where one of our representatives will be present.
