EuroTour Baltic states
26.06.2009 - Gourmet’s Italia: Premier in Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn
And once again, an new stage of the EuroTour 2009 from Gourmet’s International from Meran, and, for the first time, the Baltic States will be the destination of the EuroTour from 13th to 16th July.
This fourth stage will take us to the three capitals Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn, to a new and interested audience made up of trade visitors and gourmets in beautiful, centrally situated locations where we can present, and offer for tasting, the first class Italian oenogastronomic specialities.
“Gourmet’s Italia Baltic States” offers the products of 32 wine and gourmet producers from Trentino South Tyrol, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto, Tuscany, Marche, Umbria, Abruzzo, and Campania for tasting in the three capitals.
The fourth stage of the EuroTour starts on July 13th in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, in the Congress Centre of the Reval Hotel Lietuva in the Konstitucijos pr 20, a strategically well placed, large, modern event centre on the banks of the Neris.
The following day, 14th July, we continue to Riga, the capital of Latvia, to the wonderful, historical “Blackheads House” on the Main Square, Ratslaukums 7.
After a well earned day of we continue on 16th July to Tallinn, the capital of Estonia to the centrally located 15th century “House of the Brotherhood of Black Heads” in Pikk Street 26.
On these three afternoons first class Italian products specially chosen by Merano International WineFestival & Culinaria under the patronage of the Italian Embassies of Vilnius, Riga und Tallinn in collaboration with the “Italian Trade Commission” will be presented. In the early afternoon during a press conference at the beginning of the event, the reasons for the choice of these new target markets will be explained, and the foundations laid for future promotional events.
