Gourmet’s International came back from the second stage of the EuroTour 2009 in Vienna completely satisfied.
The presentation of more than 90 wine and culinary producers took place in the Palais Niederösterreich on 11th May from 1 pm to 8 pm. Included in the producers were 26 companies from Campania that were specially chosen by Merano WineFestival & Gourmet. Other regions present were Piedmont, Lombardy, Trentino South Tyrol, Veneto, Emilia Romagna, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Tuscany, Latium, Marche, Abruzzo, Apulia, Calabria, Sicily, Sardinia.
The interesting meeting point “Made in Italy da gustare” was especially popular and people thronged to taste the high quality oenogastronomic products
The tasting programme “Le delizie del Mediterraneo” with wines from Campania, Piedmont, and Tuscany, sparkling wines, buffalo mozzarella, Grana Padano, olive oil and balsamic vinegar was also a great hit.
The Italian Ambassador for Austria Massimo Spinetti, the president of the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Austria Alfred W. Mallmann, the director of the Region Campania Mario Capuozzo, the president of Agripromos Pietro Micillo, the Journalist of Mistery Apple Communication Dante Stefano Del Vecchio and the president and organisation talent of Gourmet’s International Helmuth Köcher were present.
The fifth edition of Gourmet’s Italia Vienna in collaboration with the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Austria and the partner region of Campania can be classed as an absolute success.
