07.04.2009 - Vinitaly: Helmuth Köcher tastes wines from Campania

Helmuth Köcher, president of the Merano WineFestival & Gourmet took part in Vinitaly 2009 on Friday 3rd April on invitation of the Region Campania to lead two wine tastings.

This important international stage was also the opportunity to present the partnership between Gourmet’s International of Meran and Mistery Apple Communication with the Region Campania on the one hand, and on the other, to announce the numerous initiatives on the programme of the EuroTour with the Merano WineFestival & Culinaria 2009.

Helmuth Köcher, together with the journalist and author Monika Kellermann, led through a tasting of the super white wines from Campania from 11.15 and then through a tasting of the super red wines from Campania at 12.30, both of which took place in the Pavillon of Campania.

The super white wines tasted and judged were Fiorduva from Marisa Cuomo, Fiano di Avellino Cupo di Pietra from Cupa and Greco di Tufo from Terredora and the super red wines were Montevetrano from Silvia Imparato, Terre di Lavoro from Galardi and Bue Apis from Cantine del Taburno. The wine tasters and participants praised all the wines.
