Helmuth Köcher will be a speaker at the “Stati Generali del Vino in Campania” in Avellino on 6th and 7th March 2009.

The president of Gourmet’s International in Meran will lecture in the Auditorium of the Bank of Campania - Collina Liquorini on 6th March 2009 at 11.15 about “Wine as economical and cultural value of an area in the global economy.”

The founder of Merano International WineFestival & Culinaria will talk about the appreciation of an area within the global market and illustrate this by using the example of South Tyrol and his personal project of fine wines and Italian gastronomy’s international promotion.

The two day event is devoted to wine and international experts from the wine industry will give their opinions on Italy and in particular the region of Campania. Parallel events with exhibitions and guided tasting of quality wines, olive oil, as well as exhibitions about careers and industry in Campania will take place in the Villa Amendola and in the ex prison Borbonico in Avellino.

The collaboration between the Merano WineFestival & Gourmet, Mistery Apple Communication by Dante Stefano Del Vecchio and the Region Campania started last year and continues in 2009 with a big promotional and international programme of Region Campania’s food and wine companies during the stages of the Eurotour in Munich, Vienna, Kiev, Moscow, in the Baltic States and especially at the Merano WineFestival & Gourmet in October and  in November 2009.
